When branding your website, one of the most important things you can do is chose fronts. That careful selection and curation of fonts you’ll use is called typography. Typography plays an essential role in converting readers to followers. Therefore, it’s vital for every creator to get in touch with their personal style!
As you’ve probably realized in the content creators sphere – it takes creating a persona around your content to become successful. Gone are the days of just writing out some helpful information or random stories you share. How you share and what mood you’ve created is what keeps people coming back! In order to help you on your journey to success – we created this guide to the best elegant and simple attention-grabbing Canva fonts.
why typography is so important
Fonts and your font pairings set the tone for your website. If you want to convey a more serious vibe, a fun vibe, etc – all of that can be done through carefully selected color palettes and fonts. What happens when you stumble upon a website for the first time? Does their personality shine through? If someone has pink accent colors and big loopy handwriting script fonts – you know it’s more feminine.

If you’re on our site, you’ve probably noticed black accents in combination with earthy tones? We wanted a more serious tone that also complements our love for photography! We combined our color palette with elegant & simple fonts. When creating branded content – we’ve continued with fonts that complement our earthy-semi-mysterious-calming vibe.
If you switched to another post – the colors and vibe will feel the same!
should you continuously change fonts?
In short: no.
If you’re continuously changing fonts – you’re not allowing your potential readers to get to know your brand. Throughout our entire blog, you’ll notice we use Raleway for the body text, a Parisian-style script for accents, and a bold typeface for the headings. Unless we do a total rebrand – everything else should complement those fonts.
If this seems boring to you – ask yourself: Would I rather spend my time creating quality content or finding new fonts?
The answer should be creating quality content.

How To Save Your Favorite Canva Fonts
Found a font you love but can’t remember what it’s called? The best way to save your favorite Canva font pairings is to get a Canva Pro account and use their branding organization tools! They make it easy to save a font for your headings, subtitles, and paragraphs. These can be used when creating any piece of content in combination with your favorite color palettes!
When we’re batch creating Pinterest pins or graphics for our site – it becomes so much faster to have a preselected color palette and typography. There is no struggle and no frantic search for the best fonts! We already have them chosen.
