The photo above is from last September in Italy where the weather felt much the same as Kentucky right now!
When I think of September, I usually think of football games, the start of school, and road trips. The only thing we’re doing is road tripping as fall starts to peek through the summer humidity. Kentucky fall usually looks like crisp mornings that want you to wear a sweater, and then by afternoon, you’re a bit sticky under that sweater!
Bottom line: Since Kentucky Septembers change so drastically throughout the day, my playlist does too. This bi-polar playlist includes some brighter tunes like Lauren Alaina’s ‘Run’ and low passionate Adele-Esque tunes like ‘Girl’ by Say Grace. Grab a sweater and go for a walk in the park- this playlist will float right along with you.
Also… I called this playlist Seaside because Billy Currington’s seaside just spoke to me. Have you ever seen the ocean in the fall? I think it’s even more beautiful than normal! So yeah that may sound like a summer song but watch the movie Nights in Rodanthe with the blustery chilly days next to the ocean. You’ll get it.
